Tokyo Cafe – Megamall |
Tokyo Cafe is not your typical Japanese Restaurant for it is a fusion of Western and Japanese Cuisine. And as one of the rising restaurants in the Philippines, it offers a wide array of food, beverages and desserts. It has a cool and family-friendly ambiance that you would surely love to stay, dine in and visit back again and again.
Tokyo Cafe currently has 7 branches, 6 of which are in the Metro and the other one in China. Their first branch is located at SM Mall of Asia, which is consistently one of the highest selling restaurants in the whole mall. After a year of success, they opened their second branch at SM North Edsa, The Block which I have already visited few months back and got to know the Cafe. Third one is located at Mckinley Piazza at Bonifacio Global City, Taguig . Then SM Megamall where we had this event, and which can accommodate more then 50 people. And then Go Hotel where they serve Tapsilog and which has a function room. Their newest branch is at NAIA Terminal 3.
We had a chance to order anything we want, but Ana and I just had one dish each.

I ordered Ten-Ju, a meal which consists of 3 large deep fried shrimp tempura with signature tempura sauce on a generous serving of steamed rice with some vegetable and corn salad on the side. This meal is also ordered by almost all the bloggers who attended the event.

Ana had the Creamy Ebiko Pasta which consists of Shrimp, karashi ebiko, and cream pasta. Had a taste of it and I must say that it was so creamy and the ebiko and shrimp blends so good that you will surely ask for more of it.

I love Japanese fusion food too. I hope they have information about gluten content in their restaurant, too. I need to make sure that only gluten free products long island are used in my food.
