Ingredients
  • 1 kilo Chicken cut into serving pieces
  • 1 cup white vinegar
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1 piece onion medium, thinly sliced
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic crushed
  • 2-3 pieces bay leaf
  • 6-8 pcs black peppercorn
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/4 cup oil
  • 1 piece medium potato cut into cubes (optional)
  • 3-4 pieces eggs bring to boil  - unshell (optional)
Instructions
How to cook Adobong Manok Recipe:
    1. Heat the oil in a pan and fry garlic till brown.

    2. Add chicken pieces, water, vinegar, soy sauce, onion, bay leaf, black peppercorns, and salt. Bring to boil and simmer for 15 minutes.

    3. Remove chicken and let cool. Separate.

    4. Heat sauce, add potato and sugar and reduce liquid. Separate.

    5. Fry chicken pieces until brown and add the sauce and eggs into it. Mix well.

    6. Add salt to taste.

    7. Serve with rice.
